UNC Professor DiGiano Presented AEESP Founders’ Award
Francis A. DiGiano, UNC professor of Environmental Sciences and Engineering, was awarded the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors Founders’ Award. Prize for emerging author from a lower income country published in the Journal of WaSH for Development includes sponsorship to 2011 Water and Health Conference
The Water Institute at UNC is pleased to offer a prize to the best paper published by IWA's new Journal of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Development. The prize will fund up to $1500 of the costs of the author's participation in the 2011 UNC Water and Health Conference.
Mark your calendars for the 2011 Water and Health: Where Science Meets Policy Conference from October 3-7, 2011 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC, USA. The 2010 conference brought together over 400 people from over 50 countries to address critical concerns facing drinking water, sanitation, hygiene and water resources. In 2011, we'll address these issues from an inter-disciplinary perspective spanning science, policy, human rights, practice, financing and economics. Join individuals and experts from academia, industry, NGOs, government and foundations to deal with critical concerns relevant to both the developing and developed worlds.
