Peter J. Kolsky, PhD and who earned his masters in Environmental Engineering at UNC, received UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health's most prestigious award for alumni, The Barr Award. His achievements were also recognized with the Department's Environmental Sciences and Engineering Distinguished Alumnus Award for 2011.
